Employment News is the flagship journal for job seekers published by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. It was launched in 1976 with a view to providing information on employment opportunities to the unemployed and under-employed youth of the country. The journal is published in English(Employment News), Hindi (Rozgar Samachar), and Urdu (Rozgar Samachar).
The journal provides information related to job vacancies, job-oriented training programs, admission notices, notices related to job-oriented exams, and results of recruitment exams in respect of:
a) Ministries/Departments/Offices/Organizations/Autonomous bodies/Societies/PSUs of the Central Government, State Government, and UT Administrations;
b) Nationalised Banks/ RRBs /UPSC/SSC/ Constitutional and Statutory bodies; and
c) Universities/ Colleges/Institutes recognized by the UGC/AICTE.
In addition to this, Employment News also provides editorial content on socio-economic issues and career guidance that helps youth in broadening their horizons.
The journal serves as a guide to the youth; especially those in rural areas, by helping them gain an understanding of the job market and the plethora of employment opportunities that otherwise go unnoticed.
The weekly educates young people to make informed decisions about their careers. It is pertinent to mention that besides fulfilling its social obligation for which the journal was started,
Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar has been earning substantial profits regularly.
The journal is available throughout the length and breadth of the country every Saturday.
The Office of Employment News is headed by an Additional DG and is located in New Delhi.
एम्प्लॉयमेंट न्यूज हे भारत सरकारच्या माहिती आणि प्रसारण मंत्रालयाने प्रकाशित केलेले नोकरी शोधणार्‍यांसाठी प्रमुख जर्नल आहे. देशातील बेरोजगार आणि अल्प रोजगार असलेल्या तरुणांना रोजगाराच्या संधींची माहिती देण्यासाठी 1976 मध्ये हे सुरू करण्यात आले. जर्नल इंग्रजी (एम्प्लॉयमेंट न्यूज), हिंदी (रोजगर समाचार) आणि उर्दू (रोजगार समाचार) मध्ये प्रकाशित होते.

अ) केंद्र सरकार, राज्य सरकार आणि केंद्रशासित प्रदेश प्रशासनाची मंत्रालये/विभाग/कार्यालये/संस्था/स्वायत्त संस्था/सोसायटी/पीएसयू;
ब) राष्ट्रीयीकृत बँका/आरआरबी/यूपीएससी/एसएससी/ घटनात्मक आणि वैधानिक संस्था; आणि
c) UGC/AICTE द्वारे मान्यताप्राप्त विद्यापीठे/महाविद्यालये/संस्था.
