Fans horrified by ‘X-rated’ sex scene in ‘The Idol’: ‘I lost respect for The Weeknd’

TV viewers were left horrified by a sex scene that aired during HBO’s “The Idol” Sunday night.
The footage in question showed The Weeknd, now known by his given name, Abel Tesfaye, telling a woman to “f–kin’ stretch that tiny little p—y” while she stuck her fingers in her mouth.
The show, which already has been described as a “rape fantasy,” faced even more criticism than it already had as soon as the scene aired.
“I will never see the weeknd the same after this #theidol,” tweeted one viewer.
“The Weeknd is such a pervert omg,” tweeted another.
“I really need Abel to get dragged for this nasty scene in The Idol,” commented another.
Another went so far as to say she had “lost respect” for the “Blinding Lights” singer.
